Crazy Fish

This crazy fish hit my top water plug like a missile next to a dock piling. I think his boo boos are from colliding with the piling. The little guy screamed drag and spent more time in the air than not during the fight. That is fun fishing right there. Another bigger tarpon hit my lure two feet from the boat as I was winding in. Bout gave me and Dave a heart attack as he leeped far above the gunnel in front of us and threw the hook.

We fished for a few hour after daybreak and caught snook, tarpon and jacks all on topwater plugs. It was neat because the water was so high due to lots of rain. This allowed us to fish areas that are normally not accessible. Thanks to Dave for taking me out fishing on his boat! It was a nice treat.
